Upgrading Assessment: Observing to Learn

Click the image above for a preview of the first few slides.

Second in a four part series, Upgrading Assessment explores effective observation skills through examining psychological assessment of children.  Assessment vs. Judgment in perspective is explored, with emphasis on positive assessment as a place from which to learn.  Observation ability will be enhanced through understanding of various perspectives: molar, molecular, behavior descriptive, and behavior influential.

How we observe is how we learn about the world around us  and who we are affects the observation.  From this understanding consider the idea of developing a clearer personal understanding of your outlook. Recently presented at the 13th Suzuki Association of the Americas National Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
